Q & A

Q - Do I need my splits to join Rhythm B's?

A - No, splits are not required to join the line!  As the season progresses, you will learn how to safely stretch and drop into your splits when they are comfortable.  If you already have them, that's great too!

Q - What grade levels can try out?

A - The 2018-19 line will only be accepting Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.  If you are an incoming freshman and know that you will be dedicated and proactive on the line, please contact us!  We may make an exception.

Q - Is previous dance experience required?

A - No previous dance experience is required to join the line!  Each of the moves that the team performs are taught during practices.

Q - How many days a week do we practice?

A - Rhythm B's have practice three days a week.  These exact days will be determined at the start of a new season.  Practices typically span from 5:00 to 6:30.  The day before a performance we may have a morning practice, and in the week leading up to a performance, we will have 2:32's, where directly after school we meet on the field or in the gym to run through the dance.

Q - How long is the season?

A - The Rhythm B season begins in August, and concludes in February. We start with football season, performing at all home games, and then have a small break before basketball season. Throughout the year we also perform and participate in school assemblies and events.
